Initial Appointment

These meetings are for Initial Appointments. You have passed a prescreen! Congratulations! The next step is to meet with me, your Active-Duty Air Force Recruiter, to get started.
First, we will setup an account for you and upload substantiating documents.

We will speak about the job selection process and start the process for gathering information for a background check. Once that is done, we can schedule an appointment to be seen at the MEPS (Military Entrance Processing Station) near the Atlanta airport.
Once MEPS is done, if you're qualified, you'll be ready to book one of the jobs you qualify for and preferred.

I will ask for the following through DOD SAFE (encrypted):
-SSN Card (you + any dependents)
-Birth Cert (you + any dependents)
-Identification (you + any dependents)
-High School Diploma/GED
-if applicable College Transcripts
-if applicable JROTC Certificate
-if applicable Marriage Certificate
-if applicable Divorce Papers
-if applicable Green Card (if non-citizen)

If you are not 18 years or older, you will need both parents/guardians present.

Also, if you had any law violations (including traffic violations), I need to capture them on your profile. Please try to come prepared with the following about those:
-Date of offense
-Actual charged offense
-Location of offense
-Verdict (reduced, dismissed etc)
-Address of handling Court or Agency
-Adverse Adjudication (punishment)
-Fine amount (if applicable).

If you have ANY medical conditions in your past (even if fully recovered). Please come prepared with the following:
-Date condition began/diagnosis
-Name of Doctor/s
-Name of Clinic/Hospital
-Treatment given
-Date condition fixed
-Current status of condition
-Any medications taken
